Holden came into my life unexpectedly. He would sit at my computer swatting at the mouse on my screen or sleeping in my lap. When I brought him and his sister home - he became my world. He would sit with me when I worked on the computer, ate at the table, watched tv, read a book, worked in the kitchen. No matter what I was doing he always wanted to be a part of it. While all the other animals in the house would be happy just to lie nearby and watch, he always had to be a part of it.
When he would really want your attention he would jump up on you and stick his nose right up to yours - that was his way of giving you a kiss.
I will dearly miss my little golden boy, there will never be another like him. He was always at my side and kept me company no matter where in the house I was. He loved to lay in the sun, watch the birds and squirrels or just everyone who walked by the house. He was just a sweet and lovable character.
HOLDEN - You are dearly missed and losing you so quickly and without a chance to take time to say good bye is really heartbreaking. Here I thought you were just not feeling well and I thought the vet would make you good as gold. As it turns out you were very sick and in much pain. I love you and will always remember the permanent smile on your face and your funny little ways of always telling me you were glad to be with me.
I love you little boy and hope that you are in a much better place now. You will never be forgotten - you will always be in my heart. I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU!
